After several thousand fire tube inspections, we kept seeing the same thing: tubes go downhill faster when the cathodic protection isn't doing its job. Protect the tube right and it lasts a whole lot longer.

The trouble with most anode setups is they don't put enough material in the right spot, and they don't protect the fire tube itself. We built the Elite Treater System to fix both — without modifying the vessel — and to let you actually see whether it's working, so anodes get changed the moment they quit.

The Elite Anode is a self-grounding steel receiver — Victaulic or flanged — that you put on the vessel once. No more plastic cap, and no more leak that comes with it.

Finally see inside the vessel

The HP1Z reference electrode finally lets you check whether a single heater treater is actually protected — a real-time read on the cathodic protection inside the vessel.

  • Easy to put in; ties into SCADA or runs off a standalone cellular monitor.
  • Tells you the anode is protecting both the vessel and the fire tube.
  • Tough, and cheap to run, with a low monthly cost.

Tracker LT Remote Monitor

Built with Elecsys to watch the fire tube's protection for you. It wakes up every few hours, checks the vessel, and shoots you an email and a text if it drops out of range — so you change anodes ahead of a failure instead of after one. Runs 3–5 years on a lithium battery, and meets NACE SP0575.

Salt Water Tank Protection

We also run heavy cathodic protection for salt water tanks, installed through the thief hatch with no tank entry required.

Why aluminum beats magnesium in salt water

Aluminum — what we run

Sits right at the protection voltage you want, with none of the bad side reactions. Lasts 3–4x longer, wears predictably, and pulls out easy. Cuts corrosion 50–75% versus magnesium, and holds up in high-chloride, H₂S-heavy fluid.

Magnesium — what burns you

Overprotects, which kicks off hydrogen and sulfuric acid — and that can eat up to 90% of a fire tube wall in 12–14 months. It swells, corrodes fast, and fights you on the way out, so you end up with early failures and more labor.
